Melancholy lovers of beauty

"?? Which Of The Greek Gods Are You ??" - Results:

Aphrodite/Eros
"You are like the Greek God or Goddess Of Love. You firmly believe in soulmates, in caring for each other- and ultimately staying true to your life partner. You've either found, or are looking for "The One" for you. Romantic, kind, generous, and always loving-- you have a beauty that is inexplicable both inside and out. "

I took the quiz AGAIN, because there were some other really good choices. So, this time i am MORPHEUS:

"You're like the Greek God of Morpheus, of dreams. Believing there is something bigger out there, and often lost in thought. You're imaginative, and smart- not always a leader, but usually the one who came up with the plan. You often ask, What if... and long to get out of the darkness and through the window. "

If Aphrodite and Morpheus had a child, I would be her. A melancholy lover of beauty!

I'm so glad I have online quizzes to define my identity! What would I do if i did not know that I was like Aphrodite, Neopolitan Ice Cream, and Elmo?

Waffle Off

--for all those dang pesky waffles. It comes in an aerosol can in your nearest Howard Johnson hotel-- presumably to ease the chore of peeling a batter-y waffle off the iron. Also perhaps available for long outdoor hikes in the woods when you very well may be attacked by --WAFFLES. (Deet free)

Sup in the life of Hackenstar? Well, I've been having way too much fun with the MAG staff this summer, getting to know what junior highers think of themselves (written clearly across the back of their shorts), and painting the paintball fields white.

Have also taken to recording some background music for Glass Hammer which is a Progressive Rock band. I think this most recent album, Shadowlands (cool one with scary unicorn on the front), is their 10th or 11th put out. I've had the privelage of recording on CDs for some other random bands, ranging from Frank Sinatra (imitation), gospel (SOUTHERN), and folk bands (like unto Evanescence), and then also this guy whose made a CD for bored hospital patients who need some favorite-music-action (cool). I love recording gigs-- what an interesting little side job has been placed in my lap!

I am having the coolest time this summer, not unmixed with the Find a Real Job quest. Not only the pressure of Find A Real Job is there, but the Love Your Real Job, or Find a Meaningful Real Job is rather the scary part. One step at a time, eh?

PEACE, friends.
